CLASSROOM RULES
HERMON HUTCHENS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
1. Be in your seat ready to play/warm up when the bell rings
2. Have band folder in possession with all needed materials inside
3. Bring a pencil to class. (Should be kept in your folder at all times)
4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
5. Use appropriate language at all times.
6. Follow directions given by the director during class time.
7. Complete all assignments on time.
DISCIPLINARY CONSEQUENCES
1. Verbal warning.
2. Verbal warning = loss of half of their daily participation points.
3. Loss of all daily participation points and parental contact.
4. Sent to the principals office
5. Conference with principal, parent, and teacher.
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENTS
1. Positive notes sent to parents and students.
2. Positive phone calls home to parents
3. Class parties/ musical activities
4. Special field trips and performances outside of class
5. Listening day/ music videos

Elementary School Procedures and Practices
TEACHER: MR. LEE GRADE LEVEL: MUSIC.
1. Students will earn points on a daily basis in any of the following
areas:
In-class participation = 80%
In-class assignments/homework= 10%
Written/Singing Tests = 10%
10 participation points a week will be available for students to earn.
Refer to discipline plan for breakdown of daily participation points.
B. Specifically indicate how make-up work will be executed.
1. Make-up work is always available.
2. If students misses assignments or tests due to absences the work
can be made
up at a later date

1. Extra Credit will be available only if the student inquires about
