Assertive Discipline
First and Second Grade
Mrs. Keller and Mrs. Hayden

These will be the rules throughout the school year for our class. They have already been discussed with your child.

Follow directions the first time they are given.
Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
Walk in the classroom and school building.
Golden Rule - Treat others the way you want to be treated.

The rewards for following directions will be stickers, tickets, a movie, goodie box items, and free time.
The consequences for not follow directions will be the following:
Name on board = warning.
Name + check mark = lose 5 minutes of recess or after school time.
Name + check marks = lose 10 minutes.
Name + check marks = lose 15 minutes, plus a phone call home to parents.
Name + 4 check marks = lose 15 minutes, call parents, and visit the principal.
