Rules

1. Follow directions the first time they are given

2. Raise your hand to speak and wait for the teacher to call on you

3. Respect others - no teasing

4. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself

5. Make good use of work time

6. All assignments must be handed in on time

7. Students will come prepared with all necessary materials to each class

Consequences for Breaking the Rules

Name on board = warning

Name plus X = 15 minutes after school

Name plusXX = 30 minutes after school

Name plus XXX = 30 minutes after school and parent conference

Name plusXXXX = 45 minutes after school, parent conference and principal is notified

Severe Clause = Sent to principal

Severe Clause: In school suspension (The Severe Clause will be used in any extreme case of disruptive or violent behavior.)

Homework: If students do not turn their math homework in on time they will be required to call their parent/s and serve an automatic 15 minute detention.
All other homework not turned in on time will be treated like any other rule violation.
(In emergency cases a student may be excused from this policy by a parent explaining the situation through a note or phone call.)
