Transportation

Since July 2004, Valdez City Schools has contracted the services of First Student to provide busing for the District. Our bus driving partners are the first to greet students each day and the last member of our team to see them before they return home.

Valdez City Schools supports transportation to and from school for students for students who reside in Valdez as far as the 11.7 Mile Avalanche Gates turnaround. Eligible students are assigned to a specific bus and a specific bus stop. Parents who wish their students to ride the bus should call First Student at 907-835-9525 for more information.
