Welcome to 2nd grade!

My name is Colbi Johns. 

I attended Hermon Hutchens Elementary School from kindergarten until sixth grade where I then attended our junior high and graduated from Valdez High School in 2010. After high school I went to college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and got my teaching degree. During my fourth year of college I student taught here in Valdez.

After graduating I became a Paraprofessional for a year and had the chance to help in the preschool room. I now get the opportunity to teach in the wonderful school I grew up in! In 2015 I was hired to teach second grade. This school year will be my fifth year teaching!
