I am originally from northeast Michigan, and graduated from Central Michigan University.  I have spent the last 14 years in Bethel Alaska. While in Bethel I taught math classes from Pre-Algebra thru Pre-Calculus.  I have also taught Woodshop, Construction, Intro to Engineering, 3-D Solid Modeling, and Architectural Design.  I have coached basketball all 14 years, with the last 9 years being the Head Varsity Coach.  

My wife is also a teacher, and she will be teaching 1^stgrade here in Valdez.  We have two daughters, Sydney (entering 6^thgrade) and Zoey (entering 2^ndgrade).  

My hobbies include fishing, hunting, camping, and sports.
