This is my 18th year teaching. My career began in Ohio. Then I was in Nome for 8 years and have been in Valdez for 6  years. I teach Alaska History, but have taught Geography, U.S. History, Economics, Government, and most of the other social studies- related subjects. 

In my personal time, I like to be outdoors and enjoy hiking and kayaking. I am looking forward to all the new outdoor adventures that Valdez has to offer. If I am not outside, I am probably reading or watching sports (football and baseball are my favorites) and having some quiet time.
