The Valdez High School community prides itself on having experienced teachers and support personnel that care about students.  We offer a wide range of content area classes and electives intended for varied student interests.  Explore our website to discover the different sports, clubs, and activities that VHS has to offer. Valdez High School serves the needs of 9th-12th grade students residing in the City of Valdez and is a comprehensive accredited four-year high school.  The academic program is organized into a class schedule of a two-day rotating block schedule. Students register for 7 class periods and have the option of an 8th as well as enrolling in an assorment of dual credit classes at the local college.
